Camp Linden, located on the Brandywine near West Chester, is owned and operated by the Philadelphia Ethical Society.  Its mission is to introduce inner-city children to the wonders of nature.  Children enrolled in urban day camps visit Camp Linden the same week-day for six weeks during July and August.  The program includes gardening and related instruction, nature walks, Native American culture, swimming lessons, free swim and free play.  Camp Linden served over 250 children from low income Philadelphia neighborhoods in 2015.  For more information go to http://www.phillyethics.org/camp_linden.php
